the 50's & 60's. For 7 days in August every third year, Red
Deer becomes a scene from 'American Graffiti' with 1000 hot
rods, custom & classic cars and trucks. Friday Cruisenite.

Offroad Expo is an annual 3 day event held at Westerner
Park. It is an extravaganza of competitions, demonstrations
and exhibits of Offroad vehicles, accessories and sports.
From motocross aerial tricks to extreme driving we have

Red Deer's annual 'street festival'. This is a two day event
in the downtown core. CentreFest has partnered with the
Edmonton International Street Performer's Festival to
present a world class line up of entertainment.

Red Deer Cultural Heritage Society operates the historic
Cronquist House, a three story Victorian style Brick
farmhouse built in 1911 by one of Red Deer's early settlers.
This non-profit society operates Cronquist House (at Bower
Ponds) and Festival Hall (by the Memorial Centre). Cronquist
House offers meeting room space and catering facilities.
Festival Hall accommodates 300 people for meetings to
receptions. Formerly named the Folk Festival, the Society is
best know for producing Canada Day celebrations at Bower
Ponds since 1980. Programs each year involve about 10,000
participants.

The Red Deer Fish & Game Assoc. has brought the Sportsman
Show to Central Albertans for 40 years! The public can
browse and buy products; from hunting and fishing lodge
vacations, houseboat and motor home rentals, camping to
white water rafting, RV’s, boats, ATV’s, motorcycles,
hunting and fishing accessories, outdoor art, and golfing.
